| Looking at the actions of Border Patrolman Bruno Cabral making a lawful arrest that is noted in Florida Keys Free Press Link. The suspect is clearly resisting and in violation of 18 USC 111, I believe a group of liberals/and or illegal aliens are attempting to tarnish the reputations of this Border Patrolman. Keep up the good work Officer Cabral! |
 [Dead Swimmer] Edward Eugene Stills, 50, of Asheville, North Carolina, was near Marvin Key around 3:15 p.m. when observers noticed that he dove into shallow water. He was found unresponsive in the water. Marvin Key, 10 to 15 miles northeast of Key West, is an uninhabited island off the Lower Keys popular with weekend boaters for its beaches and sandbars. Link |
| [ICE Evil] My friend’s wife was arrested and taken away by ICE from her nursing job in Marathon. She had a lawyer representing her who asked the judge what the charge was against her as she was here legally and her papers didn’t need renewal until 2027. The judge didn’t know the charge against her and put her back in jail until he could figure out why she was arrested. That, in itself, is sick.
This is what is happening all over the country, people being snatched by ICE just because they’re brown. Even when presented with legal documents ICE arrests anyone who doesn’t look like them to fill their quotas. Quotas have been deemed illegal for cops to stop speeders (speed traps), so government knows quotas are wrong especially if they affect people’s lives like ICE does without regard for the law or decency. |

| [Bad Guys] Two South Carolina men were locked up in a Florida jail Sunday following a traffic stop where drugs and a gun were seized. At about 3:30 a.m., Gutierrez was driving a BMW sedan that was speeding on U.S. 1/Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway in the Florida Keys, the sheriff’s office said. Coker was a passenger in the vehicle. The BMW was pulled over, and a deputy said the vehicle smelled like marijuana while a THC pen was in plain view. This led to a search, where a loaded .45-caliber Glock, more than 68 grams of cocaine, more than 21 grams of marijuana, and seven prescription pills were found along with $641 in cash. Link |

| [Bad Agent] We demand the arrest of Bruno Cabral, a particularly aggressive ICE agent who has been terrorizing the people of Key West. Bruno, commonly known locally as The Big Bald One, has been racially profiling citizens of Key West, often unlawfully threatening and even assaulting them. His reign of unconstitutional terror has been thoroughly documented in the media. He has been witnessed throwing teenagers off their bicycles and pinning them violently on the pavement; threatening witnesses; and assaulting, injuring, and falsely imprisoning American citizens. Bruno has been inflicting violence on this island community for nearly a year, and he has done so without impunity. He has been witness to and aided in the torture of Key West residents. And he has intimidated and assaulted witnesses exercising their constitutional rights to observe. We ask residents of Key West and Monroe County to sign, and also invite anyone statewide and even countrywide to sign and share this petition. Link |
 [Lights On For Safety] That needs to be looked at again by the state. The newer vehicles with the new type headlight bulbs, that some drivers turn on high beams in the daytime, are anything but adding to safety. | [Vote] Deer friends: So, you really love living The Keys. You groove on sitting outside in the evening and sipping some really good adult beverage. Some may even enjoy puttering around the outside the house, maybe doing chores on the boat or just going doo-dah. It wasn’t so long ago that any of those great pastimes would have required that you slathered your body with greasy bug repellant, and even then, the mosquitoes would always find an unprotected spot. I vividly remember the DC3s of Mosquito Control, their roar that shook you out of bed in the morning, and the huge clouds of chemical trailing them. But it really didn’t work all that well, and for many years we never saw an osprey. The hard fact is that without our mosquito control we really wouldn’t want to live in The Keys. You could, but you wouldn’t want to. Without mosquito control our tourist industry would be but a fraction of what it is. I admit that lots of folks think that would not be a bad idea.
There’s an election coming up and some mosquito control board seats are on the ballot. One of the candidates is Phil Goodman. Currently he’s the Chairman. Phil has done more to modernize and eliminate waste in the agency than any other person. He even fought for and won imposing term limits on board members. Phil is considered to be one of the nation’s pre-eminent experts on mosquito control. He’s running for office, if he wins, it will be his last term.
