Personally, I believe that a County Court Judge must be fully involved with in and committed to the entire community–the entire county. The Judge must have a broad and deep knowledge of the law. The Judge must have been a skilled litigator. The Judge must have been a mentor to those entering the legal profession. The Judge must have a deep and abiding commitment to public service. Personally, I’d prefer that a county judge be very much family oriented, that trait strengthens the Judges’ allegiance to community values and the law. So there you have it. I believe that we should ignore the glitz, the glitter, and the utter nonsense that permeates so many political campaigns. I believe that we should study the applicants who want to work for us and to choose the very best qualified. Screw political parties screw political labels, screw good old boy politics–elect the best applicant. |

 [Walmart Returns] Walmart has a very easy return policy. Print a label, drop it off at a FedEx location and your credit card refund shows up in a couple of hours. Their prices are generally better than Amazon, they ship much more quickly, and as an added benefit, when I review certain things I bought they send me a $5 off any purchase coupon. I can’t figure out which items cause this, but they’ve sent me 5 in the past 6 months. I rarely shop Amazon anymore.[Editor: Walmart stock is up 30% to $133.] Link |
