[“We are still here with the highest living standard, best doctors, schools, the best everything in the world”] You are living in the past. First of all I love America and have an American flag flying in my yard, but highest living standard? The United States is not even in the top five. Often mentioned are Australia, Sweden, Canada, Norway, and Switzerland. Best doctors? Wes we have the best doctors, but one of the worst health care systems in the world. The insurance companies, hospitals and the big pharmaceutical corporations are most concerned about profits, not people. Schools? Not even close. The schools in the United States are average at best. Finland, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore are mentioned often for the best schools. I think poor education is one of our biggest problems |

[Joke Friday] Ron Chestna 89 years of age was stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and was asked where he was going at that time of night. Ron replied, “I’m on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late.” The officer asked, “Really? Who’s giving that lecture at this time of night?” Ron replied, “That would be my wife.” |
[Spies Like US] Intel Active Management Technology is hardware-based technology for remotely managing and securing PCs. Currently, Intel AMT is available in desktops, servers, ultrabooks, tablets, and laptops with the Intel Core vPro processor family, including Intel Core i3, i5, i7, and Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 product family.
Intel AMT is designed into a secondary (service) processor located on the motherboard. Hardware-based management works at a different level than software applications, it uses a communication channel (through your network/internet) that is different from software-based communication (which you have control over). Intel AMT includes hardware-based remote management, security, power-management, and remote-configuration features. These features allow an IT technician (or the NSA and FBI) to access an AMT featured PC remotely to power up, power down, adjust the BIOS or UEFI, install (spy) software and even operating systems. In order for this to work, it’s turned on by default on all new computers with those processors and some suspect it really can’t be turned off at all to allow snoops remote access. Combined with a hardware/firmware backdoor confirmed exists in all consumer level routers (using a specially crafted network packet just like AMT), it just goes to show we are all 100% completely pawned (a chess move where a pawn turns into a queen and thus gives a superior advantage) from the factory. Also many websites are now caching what you type before you hit submit so it goes over the Internet and through the NSA filters. Watch what you say and do online folks, Big Brother is watching you! [Crackhead] In today’s Blue Paper, there is an excellent article by a KW Conch describing what it’s like to be a crack-head. For a druggie, he is a very talented and entertaining writer. Check it out, you’ll enjoy the ride! Link |
[“We are still here with the highest living standard, best doctors, schools, the best everything in the world!”] That is not exactly true any more. All of these were true 50 years ago. Today several countries have passed us in many ways. We still have the best military in the world and probably the best freedom of speech as long as it’s not in opposition to a left or right winger. I still think it’s the best country to live in, but several others have closed the gap a lot. We need to revive ambition among a large number of Americans. |

FKAA cannot seem to do anything right with the sewer system currently being built. Now they are putting a permanent French drain in gasoline contaminated ground next to the shoreline and a boat basin so they can temporarily lower the water table two feet in a 15 foot deep hole that will still have 12 feet of water in it. Two feet of dewatering, my ass! They will pump that 20×20 foot excavation as hard as they can and for as long as they feel like. Dump the Pumps has written a letter in protest to the South Florida Water Management District. The Blue Paper published that letter in today’s edition. Read about the environmental disaster proposed for Lower Sugarloaf (Link) and check out the other articles and letter while you are there. Their e-paper is free to read and does not hide or sugar-coat the truth. |

[Frankinskeeters] “In an attempt to curb outbreaks of two devastating tropical diseases in the Florida Keys, the FDA is proposing the release of millions of genetically modified mosquitoes into the area. Scientists have bred male mosquitoes with virus gene fragments, so when they mate with the females that bite and spread illness, their offspring will die. This can reduce the mosquito population dramatically, halting the spread of diseases like dengue fever.”
The FDA is now on board with this idea. This has had excellent success in the Cayman Islands and Brazil. It’s either this, leave South Florida or we all suffer from horrible, painful, incurable diseases. Pesticides are no longer effective. Bring on the Mosquito People! (Last sentence was a joke). Link |

[Sewers] I was seriously considering purchase of a house that is currently for sale. I especially like that it has a fresh water well on the property. I checked out the title and discovered that a grinder pump easement has already been given to FKAA and registered at the Clerk of Court. I am very disappointed. Even if I had to install my own grinder, it did not need to be in a deep skinny pit that may compromise the well. That very deep pit excavation may penetrate a confining layer or allow surface water (and very possibly raw sewage) to trickle down through the backfill into the fresh water reservoir. Grinder pumps suck. FKAA sucks. Time to print up some of those shirts that the attractive lady modeled in the CT. |

[Plagiarized] Of course a drunk grifter would plagiarize Dr. Martin Luther King. “GOP leaders, by the way, y’know the man can only ride ya when your back is bent. So strengthen it. Then the man can’t ride ya, America won’t be taken for a ride.” ~Sarah Palin
“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can’t ride you unless your back is bent.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr |

Apparently the Bubba system is still alive and well and thriving in the Monroe County School District. 71 change orders were not properly brought before the Board of Education for approval as required by law, and the Chairman of the Finance Committee got removed from his position for question that record keeping procedure by the school district. Isn’t this the same members of the Board of Education that sat through the Acevedo case and the credit card scam? Voting for incumbents does not benefit our children. Shame on those who did. |
[“Bill Nye is a kook”] Yeah, who wants to listen to some crazy scientist guy. When you get sick I am sure you will get your cancer treatments from your local shaman or witch doctor. Who needs all that sciencey stuff, not you! |
Was that picture of the guy in yesterdays post taken down here? He looks like the lead guitar player in one of the local bands. He is a good guitar player but can’t sing very well |
Regarding F.K.M.C.D. and the GMO mosquitoes. For goodness sake folks, research what Oxitec and F.K.M.C.D. are doing and make up your own mind. In my opinion they are on to something that the locals should embrace. The method is ingenious and so simple once understood. It’s an opportunity to make significant headway against the non-native Aedes aegypti mosquito and I think it would also save money in the long run.
You do not want dengue fever! Not even once. Trust me on that. Once you have been infected by one serotype the risk of further complications is increased. Link |

[Homeless] KOTS was built as a solution to the city not being put into federal court by local attorney Sam Kaufman and me, because its police were hassling and arresting homeless people for sleeping outside at night, and as a result of the city making homeless people camping in the woods stop living there, which resulted in them camping in plain view elsewhere. I was one of those homeless people who was made to leave the woods and camp in plain view. In the woods, we bothered no one but ourselves and city officials and other mainstream people who were rabid against homeless people not paying rent. The trigger, that is, the excuse, for all of that change was one homeless man, Frisbee Dave, had a really trashed up campsite in the woods, and a great commotion was made over that and used as the reason to make all homeless people move out of the woods.

[NAS Key West Exercises] Force protection security exercises at NAS Key West this coming week. There’s a possibility of delays at the gates, and on Tuesday, exercises will be conducted at the Naval Branch Health Clinic at the intersection of US1 and South Roosevelt Blvd.
The force protection and anti-terrorism exercise Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield 2015 (SC-CS 15) will commence Feb. 2 and last through Feb. 13. Personnel can expect an increased security posture at Naval Air Station Key West for the duration of the exercise. SC-CS 15 is a force protection exercise conducted by Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) and Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) on all Navy installations in the continental U.S. to allow Navy security personnel to hone skills and situational readiness using real-life training scenarios. SC-CS 15 is not in response to any explicit threat, but is a planned annual exercise. Measures have been taken to minimize disruptions to normal base operations, but there may be times when the exercise causes increased traffic around bases or delays in base access. The Naval Branch Health Clinic, in particular, will see increased security activities Tuesday. The clinic is located at the intersection of US1 and South Roosevelt Blvd. “We ask our personnel, and those outside the fenceline, to please be extra-alert to what is happening on the base during this exercise timeframe,” said Naval Air Station Key West Commanding Officer Capt. Steve McAlearney. “As usual, follow the orders of our security forces, be patient and plan ahead if you need access to any of the NAS Key West annexes.” For more information about SC-CS 15, contact Naval Air Station Key West Public Affairs at (305) 293-2027. – U.S. NAVY- |

[“What female manager was diddling the pot”] That was the most disjointed and confusing post I have ever read here and I loved it. Please allow more uncensored material to be published as I find it far more entertaining than the same old topics we see everyday. I wonder who Leslie is and what pot was she stirring? |
[“Neighbors from hell respondent”] I shouldn’t reply to this person because it is obvious they have few teeth and smell bad, but in any case I do hope you are sterile! |

The posters answer to the poster stating that he did not see how any rational thinking person could be a liberal was so on the money for a liberal person, now if that poster would have answered it was easy all one has to do is think, care and then do something positive for the person, but then he would have been a conservative, yes words do have meaning. |
FTR is away getting a new Right wing. He’ll return as soon as he’s well. Get well soon FTR! |
