Pizza With Frozen Dough

pizza-sliced200h

1 pound loaf Bridgford Bread Dough
Place frozen dough in lightly oiled bowl and let dough rise. How long depends on room temperature, usually about 6-8 hours.

Oil a pizza sheet with extra virgin olive oil and spread dough from center out towards rim using finger tips. Let dough rise again in pan for thicker crust. Spread crushed tomatoes over dough or use fresh tomato slices.
Sprinkle liberally with dried oregano and garlic powder.
Add grated cheese. A mix of both mozzarella and cheddar works best (spread cheddar first)
Add bell peppers, onions, minced garlic, anchovies, pepperoni, tuna, or what you have in the refrigerator.

Bake on bottom rack of oven for 13 minutes at 550º (adjust the time if your oven doesn’t go that high).
