Original recipe for Ma’s Providence Pizza Dough
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 tablespoon oil
1 pinch sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup cornmeal
2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
Knead ingredients for five minutes, let rise until doubled in size, about one hour. (Divide dough in half and freeze one half for later use.) Spread on well-oiled cookie sheet or pizza pan. Bake at 550° 12-13 minutes.
