Pulled Pork

5 pound boneless pork shoulder
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper, ground
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
t teaspoon thyme, dried
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water

Combine all seasonings in small bowl and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a 6-quart slow cooker
Add water, over and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or until pork is very tender.
Place pork on large cutting board or platter and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Serve on buns with barbecue sauce.
