Yeast Batter

1 1/3 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons yeast
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup 110° hot water

Mix in 4 quart measuring cup to a lose batter
Let rise for 15 minutes or until the batter doubles in volume.
Optional: add chopped shrimp, vegetables, etc and mix gently so as not to make the dough go flat.

Spoon into 350° oil. Remove when golden, about 3 minutes.
