No Yeast Pizza Dough
2 1/2 c. flour
2 3/4 tsp. baking powder (if using baking soda use half and omit salt)
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
3/4 to 1 c. water

Mix dry ingredients. add 3/4 cup water and oil. Stir until it forms a ball. If dough is stiff, add more water.
The dough will be soft, not sticky. Knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes.
Bake at 400°F for 15-25 minutes

[Hemingway Gate For Sale] Listed on eBay is a wrought-iron gate from the Nobel laureate’s OldTown home on Whitehead Street. The museum has replaced it and gave the original to Helpline Inc. to sell as a fundraiser. The gate is believed to date to 1935, when the familiar wall was built around the property. Due to a federal court’s order, in 2011, it was replaced with a barrier designed to better contain the famous polydactyl cats — there are around 45 there now — that roam the one-acre gardens and Spanish Colonial-style home.

The gate was at the side entrance to Hemingway’s garden on Olivia Street.

It didn’t take U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia long to set roots in both Washington, D.C., and Key West. Garcia, a Democrat, was in Key West Friday to officially open an office at 1100 Simonton St., Suite 1-213, as a means to keep in touch with his Monroe County constituents. He told the crowds who attended his swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 6 at the San Carlos Institute that he would “work every day for the people of Monroe County.” And he promised there would be a place where people could go to reach out to him.

Garcia won the November race against Republican candidate David Rivera, who is embroiled in controversy involving a federal grand jury, ethics violations and a missing FBI witness. Garcia has assigned the running of the day-to-day operation to Jennifer George-Nichols. Although the main office is in Key West, George-Nichols will also travel throughout the Keys regularly holding town hall-type meetings to keep a finger on the pulse of the Keys communities that Garcia represents, South Florida’s District 26, director of communications Giancarlo Sopo said on Friday.

Garcia is very committed to bringing the voices of South Florida to Washington, D.C., Sopo said. He also brought a Conch Republic flag, which is flying at the Capitol. “He will visit as often as he can,” said Sopo.

Your history section has a page written by John Scharch Sr. in July 2011 with some photos by the late Mel Marshall. [Gun Nuts] The White House’s attempt to portray President Obama as a gun user may have had unintended consequences today, as a newly released photo of Mr. Obama firing a rifle at Camp David set off a panic of gun buying across the US.

Right-wing opponents of Mr. Obama were behind the frenzied gun sales, saying that they were terrified by the image of an armed and shooting President.

“I don’t want to sound paranoid or anything, but now everything Obama has been doing makes sense,” said Harland Dorrinson, who was waiting on a blocks-long line outside a West Virginia Wal-Mart. “He wants to take away all our guns and then he’s going to come shoot us.”

2.5 billion dollars have already been cut from the budget and none of that was from the military. It’s time Republicans acknowledged that and stop their scare tactics. To hear them talk, all the government does is spend.

[Bad News For FTR] There’s terrible financial news in the homes of the Anti Obama cool guys. Stocks rose to a 5 years high Friday with the Dow closing above 14,000 for the first time since October 2007 after jobs and Manufacturing data showed the economys recovery reamains on track. The S&P also reached its highest since 2007. This has been the best beginning of the year start since 1997.

This may be hard for the chicken little set to swallow.  The index is now just 60 points away from its all time intraday high!

Employment grew slightly and it will never grow as fast as we would like,  but its still growing. Investors poured $12.7 billion into US based stock funds. Thats not chicken feed folks. This has been the strongest flow of cash into stock funds since 1996.  Americans are looking for places to spend money and the markets are growing. We are not where we would all like to be but we damn sure are improving. America is on the way back and it sure feels nice. Theres still a way to go but at least we can see steady improvement. Its not the death of America folks like the AO cool guy set wants you to believe. Please check out my figures because they will be spun like the earths orbit.

Damnit all, where the f*%$k do some of these mouth breathing, goofy, left fielders come up with some of the nonsense that they post. Obama has been rated as the 4th best president ever: Reagan and 9 others tied for first, 15 presidents tied for second, 18 other presidents tied for third. Obama came in fourth.”  Deer Friends, our challenged left fielder did no homework, or perhaps Bush ate his homework. If you take the time to check his assertions, you will find that the source of that silliness is Obama himself. Go ahead, use the search term “Obama 4th best President”. I dare you.  If you do, you will find that Obama himself is the source of that silliness. He said it during a 60 Minutes interview in December of ’11:  Link being conducted by his CBS sycophant Steve Kroft.  Please, please, give us all a break, we deserve it!

Part 2)  Goodness gracious, its amazing how much Obama looks like a tall left handed Elmer Fudd with that shotgun.  Elmer looks like he’s out hunting the waskally Wepublicans.  C’mon folks, after we’ve seen 4 years of Obama’s lack of respect for the truth, are you ready to believe that Obama is a person who regularly shoots skeet? After all, that’s what he told us that when he released that nonsense photo of himself holding a shot gun.  Its crap, all he and his are looking for is optics. Optics trump truth in any left field endeavor. Any human who has used a shot gun more than once will tell you that the way he was mounting the gun was certain to give him a big bruise on his shoulder. He was holding the stock far too high on his shoulder, and he wasn’t leaning into the gun. The gun that he was holding was probably a Browning Citori vented barrel, over and under. And after you check it out please remember that the Citori that the video featured was probably a .20 gauge, much milder that a .12 gauge. FYI the Browning Citori  is a very high end shot gun, it costs at least $2500, not a toy for the common man. Really, though, who cares if Obama fired a shotgun once or a hundred times? His record and the record of his clan is chock full of statements, and evidence, that they are hard wired to drastically limit your 2nd Amendment rights.  If you believe the latest slobber from Camp Obama, you must believe that Obama is dead set on making gun ownership and use a diversion only for the wealthy.
