 [Ukraine Donations] The internet is awash with every scammer in the world with a computer. When you donate, ask yourself how much money actually gets to the refugees or even reaches Ukraine? Just because you see a slick tv ads or a cool website doesn’t mean they are honest, probably just the opposite. It’s a shame we can’t trust charities to honestly use our donations and not for personal gain. Research existing charities and you’ll find that most of the money from most of these charities goes to administration and salaries and bonuses—not to help those in need. Be leery of any internet money transactions from Russians, the leaders in internet scam (Ukraine is of the Rus). It’s in their blood. |

| [“Your type is the problem not the safe driver”] For the elderly lady who drives slowly and thinks what she wrote here is true, I have some news for you. Drivers that drive at least at the posted speed are the safe drivers. Slow drivers are not only extremely selfish and rude, they are dangerous. The Florida Dept of transportation had this to say:
Q: Isn’t slower safer? So there you have it. Now please get out of our way. |
 [Friday Joke] I was in a long fast-food drive-through this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn because I was taking too long to place my order. “Take the high road”, I thought to myself. So when I got to the first window, I paid for her order along with my own.The cashier must have told her what I’d done because as we moved up, she leaned out her window and waved to me and mouthed “Thank you.”, obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with kindness. When I got to the second window, I showed the attendant both receipts and took her food too.Now she has to go back to the end of the line to start all over. Don’t honk your horn at old people! |

[Cooking Oil] Recently I have found rice bran oil to be excellent for high temp cooking. Much better than peanut oil. Not much taste and hard to find. Who knew that rice bran could produce an oil? |

 [Ukraine Donations] I would be in Ukraine to help if I were younger and healthier but I decided to send half of my annual Social Security to them 3 weeks ago, $5000. My good investment for everyone in the world and I home other Americans are doing something to help also. Please help Ukraine. |
| [Bizarre Electric Car Conspiracy Theory] People will be forced to buy these electric vehicles and ditch their gas vehicles. The Fed will bring in troops to make sure you follow the rules. The Fed will then have complete control over any movement, home security, or medical facilities and food markets by simply cutting the electric power. The NWO will be by permit only. They will increase all taxes to pay for the privilege to use their “zero cost” electric. Your driving habits will be next to zero and taking vacation trips will be by commercial carriers only. The pollution factor is the same as with oil, but you will never see it rot your lungs, and other body parts. Anyone using solar panels to charge their vehicle will be jailed and bicycles will be licensed like cars. All businesses will deliver their goods for a fee. Air flights will be only for special people and the rest of us are on trains or buses. So, get ready to walk everywhere and get healthy, because us old farts will be dying off faster than they can cook us. Have a nice day while you still can! |
 [Shallow Wells are Bad] A recently released study by the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust shows some water quality impacts from sewage effluent affecting the Fisheries throughout the Keys. The study found the presence of pharmaceutical drugs in bone fish and their prey–shrimp, crab, and small fish. Pharmaceutical contamination was detected at levels high enough to have biological effects on the fish, thus posing a risk or a threat to our fishery. And the source of this contamination is human waste and a wastewater infrastructure that has been pressed beyond its technological capability and capacity. Video |

| [Old Batteries] An electric-car battery can weigh thousands of pounds. As more electric cars hit the road, the race is on to find a sustainable way to deal with these batteries once they die. Batteries last about 10 years, and are highly toxic if they end up in a landfill. Video |

| [God Endorses Slavery] The Rev. E. D. Simon, Doctor of Divinity and professor in the Randolph-Macon Methodist College of Virginia, wrote: “Extracts from Holy Writ unequivocally assert the right of property in slaves, together with the usual incidents to that right. The right to buy and sell is clearly stated. In 1835 A.D., the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church resolved “that: “slavery is recognized in both the Old and the New “Testaments, and is not condemned by the authority of God.” The Charleston Baptist Association issued ‘Una following, in an address, in 1835 A.D.: “The right of masters to dispose of the time of their slaves has been distinctly recognized by the Creator. |

| [Man Dies After Scuba Diving] was with a charter diving boat around 10:15 a.m. swimming on Crocker Reef, off Plantation Key in the Upper Keys, according to the sheriff’s office. After diving in about 20 feet of water, he came to the surface, noting he didn’t feel well before ultimately losing consciousness. The crew aboard the Captain Slate’s Scuba Adventures boat began CPR. A U.S. Coast Guard crew picked the man up and took him to shore — continuing CPR along the way. Medics took him to Mariners Hospital in Tavernier, where he was pronounced dead. |
