A poster noted how in Israel the government is insisting sects of the Jewish faith are now required to be able to be drafted. Mentioned “they just want to pray and collect welfare”. Even though they do work and earn a living. America also has religious sects that don’t wish to serve in defending America while reaping the benefits, the Amish.

[Boeing Pleads Guilty] The aircraft manufacturer pleaded guilty to a criminal fraud charge related to the crashes of two 737 Max jetliners, “angering the families of the hundreds of passengers killed who had wanted the case to go to trial,” The Guardian said. Prosecutors found that Boeing violated a 2021 agreement struck after the crashes, which protected it from prosecution for over three years.
[New Country] The State of Texas has proclaimed they want to be their own country and wants the American government out of their affairs. It’s great to assume they will not need any financial assistance after the hurricane. I applaud their standing by their rhetoric and refusing federal government’s help. Kudos Texas!
[Ocean Germs] Residents in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan and New York are barred from using an increasing number of beaches due to unsafe conditions. Several types of unhealthy bacteria have been found, plus there’s a seeming rise in shark attack risk. Swimming in the ocean this summer may be risky. Germs “found in the water and sand often come from human or animal feces,” said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Germs can be “carried into swim areas by heavy rain,” and water “contaminated with these germs can make you sick if you swallow it.”
[Lost Donkey] A Northern California couple whose pet donkey escaped five years ago say he has been found living with a herd of wild elk. In June, a hiker near Clear Lake filmed a donkey that Terrie and Dave Drewry believe was their pet, Diesel. “It was amazing,” Terrie said to CBS News. “Finally, we knew he’s good. He’s living his best life.” They are relieved Diesel looks “happy and healthy” and made friends in an area that does not have wild donkeys.
[Drowning in Advertisements] I spent some time trying to unsubscribe to Macy’s  ads. No luck. When I played Wordscape on my spare tablet game ads popped up so much that I couldn’t play. My solution:  turn off the wifi. It complains, but I play without interruption. After napping for a few hours my laptop is feeling better.

On July 8, 1947 a flying saucer was incorrectly reported to have been captured near Roswell, New Mexico, by the town’s local newspaper. Though the event did not generate much press coverage at the time, interest in the Roswell incident reemerged in the 1970s, and today the town remains a thriving tourist destination for amateur and professional ufologists.
Ibuprofen has both common and rare side effects that manifest in your skin. The more common drug reactions include itching or pale skin and rashes with flat or raised lesions. Blistering, peeling, or loosening of skin, red skin and red spots on the skin, skin lesions that are purple in the middle, and yellow skin are the more rare side effects of ibuprofen. In fact, yellow skin (and eyes) could indicate liver damage; you should watch out for other symptoms like persistent nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, dark-hued urine, and stomach pain, and get immediate medical assistance. Link
