[Phone’s Dangerous Upload] I was going to upload some photos of the earthquake in Japan and Morocco on WhatsApp.  The file is called Seismic Waves CARD. Do not open it, it will hack your phone in 10 seconds, and it cannot be stopped in any way.  Pass the information on to your family and friends. DO NOT OPEN IT.  They also said that on TV.
[Don’t Bully Old Ladies] Up at my kids’ West Palm Beach condo, the old maintenance worker got into an argument with an old lady resident who was feeding bread to the ducks in the retention pond.  He told her to stop feeding them. She didn’t.  He turned his leaf blower loose on the old lady and her bread feeding.  She grabbed him and threatened to kick his ass. I can’t make this up!
[Dungarees Are Now Bad] Now scientists say wearing jeans is bad for the environment. Study reveals wearing a pair just once is the equivalent to driving a car for 6.4 miles. Researchers say that jeans sold in fast fashion produce 2.5kg of CO2 per wear. Buying second-hand or recycling old clothes can cut emissions by 90 per cent.
If you can’t fix it with duct tape, you’re not using enough.
[Richest Hater] Elon Musk Didn’t Want His Latest Deposition Released. Here It Is. Musk is being sued for falsely suggesting a 22-year-old Jewish man was part of a neo-Nazi brawl. The lawsuit against the billionaire, filed in October, alleges that Musk used his colossal social media platform to amplify a false far-right conspiracy theory linking 22-year-old Ben Brody to a brawl in Oregon between the neo-Nazi group Rose City Nationalists and the Proud Boys, a neo-fascist fight club. The brawl occurred during Oregon City’s first Pride Night Fest, when both groups came to disrupt the event and spew anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. Link
[Eclipse] All I saw on Big Pine was a very very bright sun that didn’t even dim the light in the Keys. I couldn’t find anything to use to look at the Sun without burning my eyeballs. Sunglasses didn’t work. I could have looked through the phone’s camera I guess, or taken a picture, but that’s just not the same.

BYD is launching its next-gen Blade EV battery soon with more range and even lower cost. BYD’s Blade batteries power Tesla, Ford, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, and other popular electric vehicles from major automakers. The batteries are a major reason behind BYD’s success. By using lithium-iron-phosphate as the cathode material, BYD can make the batteries much cheaper. Not only that, but they also offer competitive power density compared to NCM batteries. BYD is the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer. Link
