[Starlink] Every person on the planet can be connected via satellite much faster than fiber optic. This video is somewhat technical, but very interesting and informative. Another interesting fact is that this is being done primarily to get stock market data 30ms sooner across the world. Elon will reap around 50 billion dollars a year from charging Wall Street and the other financial markets for this exclusive service. Plus what he gets from regular subscribers like us. The rest of us will have complete coverage anywhere in the world. Wi-fi on top of Everest! Video |
Llama will keep the wolves and coyotes away from the sheep? Is this true? |
[Nano Technology] Research “smart dust” on your search engine. Basically, scientists have created miniature computers with power supplies, sensors, and a communication range of up to 1000 feet that are smaller than a grain of table salt. Yes, they could be injected- linking you to “The Machine” as Pink Floyd called it. Bill Gates wants you to become like Star Trek’s Borg: “Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.” |
[Technology] Gone With The Wind was so long it took 8 reels for movie houses to show the 3 1/2 hour film. Now you can have it on one thin DVD. |
[Nazis Were Junkies] The Nazi regime preached an ideology of physical, mental, and moral purity. Yet as Norman Ohler reveals in this gripping new history, the Third Reich was saturated with drugs: cocaine, opiates, and, most of all, methamphetamines, which were consumed by everyone from factory workers to housewives to German soldiers. In fact, troops were encouraged, and in some cases ordered, to take rations of a form of crystal meth—the elevated energy and feelings of invincibility associated with the high even help to account for the breakneck invasion that sealed the fall of France in 1940, as well as other German military victories. Hitler himself became increasingly dependent on injections of a cocktail of drugs—ultimately including Eukodal, a cousin of heroin—administered by his personal doctor! |

[Why the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans Don’t Mix] When you look at the seas and oceans on the map you might think that they just flow into each other. It seems like there’s only one big ocean, and people just gave different names to its parts. Well, you’ll be amazed at how vivid the borders between them are. Video |
Freemasonry is the teaching of Christianity freed from the bonds of State and Church, a teaching of equality, brotherhood, and love. |
Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. What do you talk about? |
[American Exclamations] In the 1950s it was Gee! In the 1960s it was Boy! In the 1970s it was Man. In the 80s it was Like. In the 90’s it was Actually. And in the 2000s it is Wow. |
[Movies] In gothic movies there’s always a locked room. |

[Napoleon vs Russia] The Russian expedition actually cost France less than fifty thousand men; the Russian army in its retreat from Vilna to Moscow lost in the various battles four times more men than the French army; the burning of Moscow cost the lives of a hundred thousand Russians who died of cold and want in the woods; finally, in its march from Moscow to the Oder River the Russian army also suffered from the severity of the season, so that by the time it reached Vi’lna it numbered only fifty thousand, and at Kalisch less than eighteen thousand. |

[Exploding Fly] An octogenarian in the village of Parcoul-Chenaud, France, set off a violent explosion in his attempt to kill an annoying fly, the BBC reported in early September. Not realizing a gas canister in his home was leaking, the man used an electric fly swatter to battle the insect and caused an explosion that destroyed his kitchen and damaged the roof of his home. While the man was mostly unharmed, he has had to move to a local campsite while his family makes repairs to the home. See, it’s just not Floridians that do stupid stuff. |

The 25-foot vessel sank in less than a minute around 11 a.m. The captain called 911 as the boat was going down. He also activated his EPIRB, an electronic tracking device that notifies rescuers to a location in the water during emergencies. EPIRB stands for “emergency position indicating radio beacon.” Audio [below video click “Listen to this article now”] |
