The NFL is talking about a better getting racial balance in the coaching staff, so that there are more black coaches. Well what about the lack of racial balance within the players earning millions of dollars? There needs to be more White and Hispanics in order to mirror the population. I feel that in all positions in any organization positions should be filled with the most qualified, regardless of race. |

I will happily make a generous donation to SNIP to help neuter the cats as long as they post a copy of their yearly financial statement on the CT to show where my donated money is going. I like to give large sums of money but I want to know how it it being spent. I stopped donating to AIDS help years ago becuase their admin costs sucked off most of the locally donated money. Recently I donated to the Iquana Killers Club to help with the cat problem. |

[Crap] If an average weight person lives to be 80 years old and defecates twice a day he/she would shit out 29,200 lbs. of shit. That’s almost 15 tons of shit during that person’s lifetime. Multiply that by the number of people on the planet and the shit pile could cover the State of Texas by 6 feet deep in just one year. There are just too many give me mine useless feeders and breeders on the planet. |

“One of Mao’s farm policies that backfired during that time resulted from him or somebody deciding that birds were eating too much of the crops. So they ordered the citizens out and about to kill every bird they could find. They climbed into the trees with clubs and long poles, chasing the birds until they fell to the ground from exhaustion where they were killed. There are pictures of lines of dump trucks filled with dead birds parading through the capital. The next thing that happened was an outbreak of insects that multiplied without birds to eat them. The insects decimated what was left of the crops and even more people went hungry.” Substitute U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service for Mao, cats for birds, and rats for insects and you have just described Big Pine Key. The last time humanity vilified cats and encouraged people to kill them, the result was the Black Plague which killed nearly a quarter of the population of Europe. It took the continent more than 50 years to replace the population who died from the disease. |
BIG NEWS: Obama Waives Bush Law Banning Child Soldiers – ConstitutionSchoolOn October 3, 2008, President George W. Bush signed into law “Child Soldiers Prevention Act of 2008,” a law that made it a federal crime to recruit or use soldiers under the age of 15. The law also gave the United States authority to “prosecute, deport or deny entry to individuals who have knowingly recruited children as soldiers.” Sunday afternoon, President Obama signed a Presidential memorandum, stating the following: Section 404(a) deals with exporting arms to countries that allow child-soldiers. |

Dearest FTR, I just wanted to point out to you that in your haste to unload on that Leftie about President Obama being the 4th best President. That it is you that happens to be the moron. If Reagan and 9 others tied for first,15 tied for second and 18 tied for third, Obama came in fourth. That’s typical of your insanity and fuzzy math skills. Reagan plus 9, plus 15, plus 18 equals 43. Is not President Obama the 44th? I’m sorry FTR but you really must get mental health therapy and get it now, please, for your own health. I even figured out the posters intent the day it was printed here and I’m a Lefty! |
FROM THE RIGHT |
How many years ago was it when the Liberals and the major media screamed bloody murder that GWB’s Justice Department intended to gain access to the library records of terrorism suspects. At just about the same time, the same players went apoplectic at the idea that the Government could engage in wireless eavesdropping and rolling phone taps. One provision of the Patriot Act was its so called “gag order’. It prohibited anyone holding financial, medical and other private records of ordinary Americans from saying anything when the government issues a subpoena for those records. That drove the liberal media bonkers. Millions of panties were ground into oblivion by the tsunami of Liberal wedgies precipitated by the Patriot Act and GWB. But that was during GWB’s tenure; things are a lot different today. Just yesterday the world learned that the Obama White House has deemed that it has the authority to kill American citizens overseas for national security reasons. Obama’s Justice Department has determined that the U.S. government can order the killing of American citizens if they are believed to be “senior operational leaders” of al-Qaida or “an associated force” — even if there is no intelligence indicating they are engaged in an active plot to attack the U.S. What are the criteria for issuing the death sentence against American citizens suspected of being terrorists? Is there a court of any type, is there even a study group? Is there any independent non biased review of evidence? Nope! Obama believes that no judicial review is required. Obama believes that the decision to kill an American citizen overseas rests in an “informed, high-level” official of the U.S. government”. Obama believes such authority can be relegated to Presidential underlings, He and Justice believe that that an unnamed, unspecified, “informed high level official” may determine that the targeted American has been “recently” involved in “activities” posing a threat of a violent attack and “there is no evidence suggesting that he has renounced or abandoned such activities.” The memo does not define “recently” or “activities.” If our mystery “official” deems all of that to apply, the “informed official” can order the murder of American citizens. Please note that Obama’s White House and Justice Department do not reserve the power of life and death to the President, rather they believe that the power of life and death can reside in the heart and hands of an unnamed, unidentified, nonspecific “informed high-level official of the U.S. government.” Deer Friends, none of this is conjured up by Right Wingnuts such as me. In fact it is reported by NBC at: Link Deer Friends were are now in the fifth year of the Obama regime. Now we know that the rule of law has been abandoned. Mr. Obama has seized control of life and death; he/his can impose a death sentence without a judicial finding of guilt. The outrage of the Liberals is deafening. Don’t get me wrong, I support the use of drones to assassinate terrorists. But, putting the power of life and death in the hands of a single person, even the President of the United States is un-American. It is fundamentally wrong and it is scary as hell. The Obama administration’s lust for power knows no bounds. Do you remember the wailing and caterwauling that was voiced by the liberals over enhanced interrogation techniques and rendition? Today, their silence speaks volumes Part 2) Let’s further explore the accomplishments of Republican Governor Rick Scott. Rick Scott came to the office in 2011 during record-high unemployment, record-high debt, and record-high job losses. In the four years before he took office, Florida had lost 825,500 jobs. Unemployment had more than tripled – from 3.5% to 11.1% over those four years. State debt increased over those four years by $5.2 billion. Our housing market was crippled. There has been no lack of debate or finger pointing as to the why and how of the mess, but, there is no disagreement that our economy was in fact in dire straits. Florida families were hurting. Scott was convinced that the policies of borrowing and spending, and then borrowing and spending some more…were not working in Florida. The evidence is crystal clear that borrowing and spending are not rejuvenating our national economy. Since Rick Scott took office, only two years ago, Florida’s unemployment rate has dropped by more than 3 percentage points. We are now at 8 percent unemployment – a record 4-year low. Don’t forget that the national u/e rate is higher now than when Obama took office 4 years ago. We have also cut our state debt by $2 billion. Our housing starts are up again and consumer confidence is rebounding. Scott and his team cut taxes and regulations on job creators and jump-started economic growth that has now generated around 200,000 new private sector jobs. This means around 200,000 new opportunities for Florida families to pursue their version of the American dream. Implementation of Republican governance principles has led to our economic recovery being well underway. Going through a crisis requires tough choices. Years of borrowing and spending delayed the tough cost-savings measures that needed to take place for our state to live within its means. When the federal stimulus funds dried up, Scott recognized that we had to spend less. He knew that if we were going to grow again, we had to do more with less. And he did. Scott leads the team that is leading Florida toward an even brighter future. Part 3) it’s no surprise that not a single left field member of the Coconut Telegraph community has mentioned the FBI investigation into corruption and sex with minors allegations against New Jerseys Democrat Majority Leader, Senator Robert Menendez. Menendez is a whale Democrat one of the biggest of the big. If any of the allegations are true, if he is charged, the impact on the Senate will be earth shaking. Remember that if Democrat Menendez is booted from the Senate, Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christy will appoint his replacement.
