(Editor: Tuesday update. If there is no CT by noon today it is because that little piece of crap computer I’m using temporarily is making ungodly noised like I’ve never heard before and it died. Please stay tuned in case I get it fixed or my real PC gets fixed.
technical difficulty24(Editor:  My PC won’t turn on the power button is dead. I’m using an old piece of fungus that’s so out of date that it’s steam powered. So I’m not editing much today. I’m just cut and pasting. If I edit you won’t see the CT until 2:30pm and I know some of you are chomping at the bit after two days being CTless. I apologize if some jerk gets through. A History Lesson?
Really? I’d bet good money that I, a woman, have a more impressive list of game under my belt than you do. Oh, and I’ve fished a bit too – and raised one heck of a garden. That does not have anything to do with sexual orientation, or political orientation. It has to do with what people want to do or not. I just happened to have been in a lot of places where Publix was not handy, and I like to cook and eat well. (No, I am not from Jersey)
I handle what comes my way. I’m sorry if my testosterone levels intimidate you. They’re actually fairly normal for a healthy female, but I understand that some men have a problem when women have their own self esteem.
I drink single malts, good wines, no beer, very rare beef, and also sushi. I guess that means I vote a split ballot?
My first husband, extremely conservative,  did not take care of me worth a spit financially, and thought it was quite all right to abuse me. Perhaps your definition of “taking care of” co-insides with his.
I have been in Europe and a lot of other areas,  and know that people are basically the same everywhere all over the world. I also know that the first European settlers here were fleeing that continent because they were part of a “fringe” element.
Read a history book or two…you might find them enlightening.

Cheetah18[Local Driver Wins Sports Car Championship] With a win and a second at Sebring in the last two races of the season, local road racing driver Jerry Dykhuisen clinched the 2014 Central Florida Region championship in class Prototype 2 (P2).“We had a small points lead going into the weekend, but knew a couple of high finishes would be needed to take the championship.  Things went well on Saturday and we won, passing the driver who was second in points on the second to the last lap.  We had some mechanical issues on Sunday, but still managed a second place finish,” said Dykhuisen, who ran his first sports car race in 1972.

The series is comprised of races throughout the year at Sebring International Raceway and the Daytona International Speedway and is conducted by the Central Florida Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).  Dykhuisen’s car, a Cheetah SR1, is a purpose-built sports racer powered by a Suzuki 1000 cc motorcycle engine.  Weighing in at just 750 pounds, the car is capable of nearly 160 mph at Daytona.

regarding the bikes on us1: Bicyclists should not ride on the road, unless there isn’t a bike path or sidewalk available. I live in Mrthn with an incredible amount of nice bike paths off of US1 (Sombrero Beach Rd., Cocoplum Drive, old bridge, etc).  Daily, I see people on mountain bikes slowly cruising along US1 when there is an empty bike path just 10 feet to their right. Somebody please convince me why this is acceptable and “preferred” now a days, since so many people are telling me bicyclists shouldn’t be on sidewalks/bike paths.
[“Bicycle law”] We keep hearing that it is the law. It allows cyclists to use the highway as if they were a car if they follow the same rules.
I cannot remember a single case of bicycles following the same rules as cars. They run red lights, even left turning is they can beat the on coming traffic. They pass on the right even if there’s no lane. Just think how the bikes in KW are ridden. They are like kamikazes on bikes.
Has the Government been tampering with the weather?? 6 more days till the end of hurricane season & not a sneeze. It’s been 9 years since Willma the last one to seriously impact the keys. Has anyone noticed the abundance of hi pressure domes sitting midway between N America & the Iberian peninsula pushing the Africa storms further south?? Remember the huge antenna farms in the US Airforce base in Alaska, bubbles in the ionosphere. Is our government hiding something from us again?? Remember the results of love bugs, kudzu vines, etc.
[USFW attracts predators to the Refuge]  Predators gather near “The Boneyard” on the Key Deer Refuge.  Deer and other animal carcasses are discarded by USFW employees in this area they affectionately  call “The Boneyard”.
In the Keys: Marathon City Clerk Diane Clavier: Diane’s family lives here since 1997. “Best thing I ever did!”What’s happening? Always getting ready for the next council meeting. Then there is the end of year items. Taking care of new councilmembers. Support all the various committees. Lots of projects to get ready for.

What does a city clerk do? Public requests, minutes, paperwork, general paperwork, contractors work, RFQs, grant administration, audits, copies for info requests, and records management to include a schedule to discard old records.

How long at this job? She has been City Clerk since 2006. Before that she worked for the city at a lesser position. We discussed government retirement. The Fire Department has a 401K retirement plan, but the city lost that due to a rules change.

We talked about the 15-year city birthday held November 23. Diane Clavier and her family went to enjoy the celebration. The city had a booth.

Anything left out? Obviously, she is very busy, but she enjoys the work. Diane supports the city manager and his leadership style. Staff is happy at work. The manager lets his crew work.

Overall, I was very impressed with Clavier.

Workforce housing has a broad meaning to include very low, low, moderate, middle income. When a project qualifies to the income restriction, then you mean income restricted affordable workforce housing.

Low income properties in Marathon: 2 Section 8, Seacrest, Islamorada, 64th Street, Sea Grape, Overseas HWY near old Overseas Lounge, and others.

Next meeting of Workforce Housing Committee is December 2nd at 2 PM at Fire Station #14. At the center of all this is the development along west side of Sombrero Beach Rd coming from US1.

Watching the new Planning Commission shows a need to think outside the box. Make the Planning Commission the final decision of any of 8 actionable item. The City Council would hear any appeal. Appeals can come from 60 residents, any two Councilmembers, and any three Commissioners. The benefit is speed and efficiency.

November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy is assassinated and the greatest hoax of the time (the Warren Commission) is perpetuated upon the American people.
November 22, 2014 American people now live life ruled by a ruler of decree; by far the greatest hoax ever perpetuated upon them.
Oswald was the lone gunman just like Saddam had WMDs; and 51 years ago today, the American people lost.
Not so sure that you are really getting non-ethanol (marine) gas for the much more money?
Here are two quick and easy ways to check.
Method 1: Take a clear container (skinny like an olive jar wastes less gas) and put a little water in it. Mark the level. Now add about 10 times as much gas that you want to test. Shake it up and then let it settle out. If the water level is higher or lower, then you have ethanol gas.
Method 2: Take common food coloring (water soluble) and add a drop to the gas you want to test. If the gas is tinted, it has ethanol. If it’s non-ethanol, the food coloring will drop to the bottom in beads.
I tested two jugs of “marine gas” from the BPK Shell, bought about a month apart, using method 1 and only one was non-ethanol. Even the “good” one formed some fibrous looking gunk at the water-gas interface. Is it Shell Oil or the gas station owner that is perpetrating the fraud? I will be writing some letters. I heard that Valero’s marine gas in Marathon is also untrustworthy. I will be taking a small clear container and some food color and committing to about a nickel’s worth of marine gas before I buy any more. Anywhere. Also, if you can’t trust the marine gas to not have ethanol, can you trust the octane rating to ever be more than 87?

Dad, put my hair in a bun?
I bet wrecking ball operators are some of the happiest people in the world.
Illegal immigrant murdered California police officers.     Immigration Reform should be a priority.

Kudos to the funniest poster in C.T. history. He/She stated the following:   Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively.
We finally found the 1 child left behind. Hilarious.
First of all I was not just speaking of Wilder road, speed limits in most residential areas is 25 mph!! Many people go to fast. Example in Jolly Rogers estate little torch key there are a lot of motorists who speed or can’t even stay in there lane when turning or never stop for the stop sign! One is A delivery truck another is a white jeep Cherokee who must be in a hurry to get to there reasturant another is someone who drives a police car, that’s just a few, there is a reason the speed limit is 25 mph OBEY THE SPEEDLIMIT!!! There are a lot of people who walk, and ride bikes ect!!!
(Bikes). Just to let the biking community know, they are considered vehicles and must follow all traffic laws. Cyclist must ride as far to the right as possible when on a road, the only time they are legally allowed to ride in the road is if they are doing the posted speed limit, also known as taking the lane, or are on a substandard road which only would apply on some side streets in key west. You have rights, but please know what those rights are, or, also known as Rules of the road. And always remember, the average weight of a vehicle is 4,000 pounds, the average weight of a bicycle is 30 pounds +-. And not all people on the road are your friends, so it’s not wise to think your bike is a car..
LOST small female rabbit. white w/black spots. Went missing 11/22/14 in vicinity of Lyttons’ Way off of Wilder Road, Big Pine Key. Has bad teeth and needs attention. If found, please call 872-9016. Thank you.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.50 years ago there were riots in Harlem, Rochester, and Philadelphia. In 1965 there were riots in Watts. Miami in 1980. The common thread among these incidents is that heavy handed acts by law enforcement preceded them.

Pray for peace in Ferguson

How am I to believe all these stories about rats chewing the wiring of cars on Big Pine? There simply cannot be any rats on Big Pine Key since U.S. Fish & Wildlife we are awash in feral cats and we know they never lie to us.
I have a neighbor that likes to “PepperSpray” our dogs! These dogs are not vicious, agressive or violent in ANY way. But just because she seems “afraid” of them she pepper sprays them. Last week, mine being one of them. Police were called and reports were made, but to my horror absolutely nothing is being done about it!!! WHAT??? She has, pepper sprayed, attempted to pepper spray, and, threatened to spray various dogs in this neighborhood. I am outraged at the attitude of LAW ENFORCMENTand the State Attorneys office, when I called them.
My dog was sitting at my side wagging her tail at this Monster, I said, to this person,”don’t you ever pepper spray my dog,( referring to the previous years incident on my neighbor’s dog).At that she smiled and pulled out her pepper spray and aimed it right at my dog, missing my dogs face by an inch!!
This is WRONG!!!!! I need help please, anyone?, as to how we can stop this MONSTER from ever doing this to anyone else again. The smile on her face said it all… she gets a kick of it. What is wrong with people???
Post Script : A police report was put on her Husband for threatening to shoot my neighbors 2 dogs.
The incident happened, and the Monster lives on Hudgins Dr in Summerland. She is fat, Blond and very unhappy looking, DRAGS around, can’t even call it walking, and has a small dark dog (dont know breed) If you see her, mention this post please !!! I am still spitting nails over this. HELP, SOMEONE !!!!!! can contact me at:

Radioactive Water Leaks At Nuclear Plant..
MIAMI — About 3,200 gallons of radioactive water leaked into an open canal at the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant early Tuesday but there were no injuries, a Florida Power & Light Co. official said..Eighteen plant workers who helped clean the spill were decontaminated by washing off their shoes and clothes, Veenstra said.

FPL said the incident began just after midnight Tuesday. First, a leak sprung from a broken valve inside a 30-foot pool where spent Unit 4 fuel rods are stored.

Then, the radioactive water flooded the floor of the building housing the pool. The water leaked under a door onto a paved area outside and flowed into a storm drain leading directly to the unit`s canal system.

At about 12:55 a.m., the pool level had dropped two inches, setting off an alarm at the plant control center, Veenstra said.

“The canal system is a closed system,“ Veenstra said. “There was no way for the water to get into Biscayne Bay or into a public area.“

The leak alarmed South Dade anti-nuclear activist Joette Lorion. She said, “It`s just another example of major equipment problems.“

“This just reaffirms my conviction that Turkey Point is an aging nuclear plant where anything can go wrong,“ Lorion said.

Following the accident, a National Regulatory Commission inspector was sent to the plant, which the federal agency has listed as one of the country`s ten worst.
On Tuesday, Turkey Point submitted a 134-page plan to the NRC, outlining management changes at the troubled plant. The NRC ordered the plan after a series of accidents and violations.

“This was just bad timing … for this to happen on the same day (the report was due),“ Veenstra said.

Unit 4, one of two nuclear generators at the plant, was expected to be back in operation by this morning, Veenstra said.

(This happened in August 17, 1988… article by MONICA RHOR, Miami Bureau)

Everything is not OK as reported, It’s taken 25 years to show it’s ugly face. Just last week grotesque mutants, Freaky Yellow Tail were being caught just off Key Largo. These mutant Yellow tail showed up in the chum slick “glowing” in the dark of night.
The fish house refused to buy them. FWC were called to advise & assist. Last report stated the fish were taken by the Environmental Protection Agency for further study.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the U.S. federal government which was created for the purpose of protecting human health and the environment by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. .

Ask any chef-a hamburger or hotdog that doesn’t shrink is not as tasty as one that does.Fat gives them flavor and moister. You will get more yield, but it won’t be as good. And to the person who said he spent 85$ for a new battery; Where did he get it? I have been looking for one.The cheappest 12v with exchange ,after tax ,I’ve found is at Sears, and it’s $118.20!
There are a few videos on Youtube that demonstrates testing for ethanol in your gas with a clear container and some water, but this short video shows how to very simply REMOVE the ethanol from your gas and at the same time you understand how to test for it, and even how to determine the percentage of ethanol. You should be aware that ethanol serves to boost the octane rating of cheaper, lower octane gas, although E10 has 3.3% less heat energy than non-ethanol gas. So ethanol gives higher octane from cheaper gasoline (to prevent engine knock) but lower mileage and performance. So removing the ethanol will leave you with lower octane gas. Now you know why the oil companies are all on-board for ethanol- and it has nothing to do with ecology and everything to do with profit. ( I got a kick out of the flock of geese honking as they flew over the house near the end of this little demonstration!)
Was at the Big Pine Flea market yesterday. Not too many vendors maybe the weather made them stay away. But I did find some good bargains some Jewelry, really inexpensive hats at the dollar booth and bought 4 shorts 2 fishing shirts 3 towels and some spf kids shirts all at the same place next to the dollar store. He has Guy Harvey, Hook & Tackle and other name brands. while I was there One of his customers bought 3 knives HK, & Benchmade. Got to go back and get more before the holidays. The prices are really good all items are discounted and all new merchandise. Also friendly people.

A wrecking ball crashed through the City’s defense to the Eimers police brutality case on Friday.  At a scheduled deposition Chief Lee was expected to provide bureaucratic information about the City’s procedures and policies in the wrongful death case filed by the Eimers family against the City of Key West and 13 police officers.

But instead he spent over two hours freefalling into a seemingly endless pit opened by allegations of  “perjury” committed by his officers.  At issue was the surprise new bystander video that showed up this week from Colombia.   Unlike the first video, it shows Eimers arrest all the way to the point of his death.  A fact that turns out to be devastating to the somewhat creative and more favorable stories cooked up by some of the officers

Lisa Druckemiller, Monroe County’s former Technical Services Department director, is scheduled to be released from state prison Sunday. Now maybe she can go to work for the FKAA or Ed Swift? Or how ’bout the DEP?
please no more justification of making illegal immigrants legal because their kids are given citizen ship if they can sneak into the usa pregnant.
I have suggested the name – KEY EAST BPK- for our fair isle- to a few people, and they all seem to like it.
I am tired of telling people that i love going to the keys-
where do you go ?
BPK- where is that??Now i just say KEY EAST. and they all say –

Is that near key west. I dont even have to reply, I just nod.

If you like the name- use it- and remember where you first saw it!!!!
Its a coconut telegraph thing!!!

[Rats under the hood]  Rats hate cats and can smell them far away allowing them to often avoid being eaten.  I have found that if you throw a cat into the fan of your engine the offal splatters inside the compartment and the rats will avoid it by smelling cat.  Of course your mechanic will not be too happy.

One person’s loneliness is another person’s feeling of freedom.
[Immigration Reform} Out of the 5 Million, maby 10% will pay taxes. The other 90% will be in line for all the free stuff. Welfare,Food Stamps, Free Health Care, Free Phones, and anything else they can get for Free.
Maybe that fugitive that Becker furloughed will disappear forever and we won’t have to pay to support him for the next 15 years.
Obama just screwed a bunch of illegal aliens.  Now they will have to pay taxes just like the rest of us.  They will never ever vote for a Democrat after this.  This should put to rest the Fox News-Limbo dogma that says they will all automatically become Democrats.
There other day I was driving on the highway  and I crossed the double center line for a second just to see what would happen.  I got nothing.  Sometimes a line is just a line.
I learned yesterday that my 88-year-old amiga, who had a big tree limb fall on her head near the Monroe County Senior Center in Key West a couple of months ago, had a much bigger sky-falling the other day. Her son’s fiance shot and killed him and his son, and now is locked up in a state correctional facility charged with two counts of second degree murder. Upon hearing this news yesterday, I asked the newsbearer: What is wrong with this world? Unbelievable!
THANK YOU TO THE EDEN PINES PROPERTY OWNERS who attended the County’s Canal Restoration Sub-Committee’s meeting on Friday. I believe if not for the show of support by your attendance, Eden Pines would have been passed over in this canal restoration demonstration project. For those who were unable to attend, the original pumping system out onto the Fish & Wildlife wetlands (off Narcissus) has been scrapped due to permitting issues. A revised design was presented using a pumping system from the culvert off Watson. This system will flush fresh water from the bay through our finger canals. The concept is in the design stage and further information is anticipated to be revealed at the Committee’s January meeting (exact time and date to follow). As soon as the date has been set, I will send out notice in the hope that at the January meeting we will have an even bigger turn out.

Once again, THANK YOU for your show of support.

It’s time to clean house at the KEY WEST POLICE DEPARTMENT starting with Chief Donny Lee. As we see new evidence of the murder of Mr. Elmers byTHE KWPD and discovered Liers at FDLE who were in charge of the investagation one can only assume this is in fact a murder and was covered up by Lee and his cohearts. Please, Govenor Scott do not allow this travisty to continue.
Please drive the speed limit THIS GOES FOR BIKERS TOO AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAWS FOR LIGHTS, HELMITS, REFLECTORS, ETC? YEAH, LIKE YOU GIVE A damn.  Please don’t use that Roundup; don’t pull that weed. Butterflies will tell you that Spanish Needle is more than a weed.

Kathy Smith, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigator who led the state’s probe into the 2013 death of Charles Eimers, was placed on paid administrative leave on Wednesday pending an inquiry into mortgage fraud allegations.
If it was me or you, we’d be on the MCSO hit parade list and smeared by the local press for being a lying thief. Why do I say thief? Because mortgage FRAUD is conducted to get a loan when the applicant can’t afford a loan! Here we have two cops, husband and wife, who conspired (they had to have discussed her lying prior to her doing so on the form) to lie to help him get a loan. Lying to get money is stealing, even if it is from a stinking bank.If she is found to have fraudulently signed those documents then she should be fired, lose her retirement and her LEO certification as she has proven to not be truthful as a law enforcement officer. If she is found to have fraudulently signed those documents then HE should be fired, lose his retirement and his certification as well, and a charge of conspiracy to commit fraud added to his charges.

Oh and let’s open the Eimers case up again. Not with Donnie Lee’s band of cover-up specialists, no sireee. An outside agency like the FBI who will look deep into the underpinnings of what appears to be a very corrupt KWPD. I bet there’s human rights violations hidden in that case.

Anyone remember when the FDLE officer lost his job after his ex-girlfriend turned him in for renting his house out against county policy? Can anyone tell me why he got burned so badly for a much lesser crime than mortgage fraud?

It’s time to clean up law enforcement in the county and the country. If you go through the academy, took the oath to protect and defend the Constitution and wear or carry a badge for a paycheck, the you should walk, talk and carry yourself to a higher standard.

Higher than the thin blue line of horseshit displayed on the license plates on your cars that tell other badge wearers you’re “one of them”.

How about bringing back the no edit edition on Friday? Then you would have an extended weekend.
The only True deep fried chicken is when your order is taken the cook batters up the pieces, drops then in the 375* deep fryer for 17nimutes and serves it up. There is also pan fried chicken wjere the chicken pieces are Not submerged in hot oil and are turned over. It you get to Dions within 20 minutes of the chicken coming out of the cooker its very good. Any time after that and it’s just fast food. Babaloo’s on big coppitt hasTrue Fried Chicken. Remember when the KW Deli had really great true fried chicken. Ate lunch there many times always good.
I believe in sharing the road with bikers. They can have the part that’s under my tire.

U wouldn’t know a great hotdog if it bit U in the ass. A great hotdog is a slowly simmered Vienna dog on a steamed Marry Ann poppyseed bun with weird green relish, mustard, onions, tomato, dill pickle, & celery salt , fresh cut Idaho fries salted& wrapped in butcher paper. It’s called A Chicago dog after the city labeled The Hog Butcher of the World. Ketchup on hotdogs is for kids around campfires with their dogs on sticks.
I am so tired of listening to people who say that we have to allow illegal immigrants to stay in our country because the “do the jobs that no American won’t do”. I would suggest that those folks take a ride through southern Wisconsin or Central Indiana. There aren’t any Hispanics to speak of and the garbage still gets collected, the yards still get mowed, and the Burger King and the convenience stores have plenty of workers.

It’s Hard To Kiss The Lips At Night That Chew Your Ass Out All Day Long

you know this is going to be a country song!

The death of Charles Eimers at the hands of the Key West police department is worse than the shooting in Ferguson, Missouri. As bad as that was, it involved only one cop who panicked and made a very bad decision.
This black eye on the city of Key West involved at least six cops who kicked and suffocated a man to death while he was hog tied, forced face down into soft beach sand and finally tasered for good measure.
Then after doing everything they could to cover up the murder,
at least one cop went on to brag and joke about it.
And officials are concerned Fantasy Fest is giving the city a bad reputation?
I’m ashamed and embarrassed to say I live in this city.
I hope Eimers is remembered this Thanksgiving on the one year anniversary of his so called “death in custody”.
NOT CONCHS! To be a true Conch U Shall have been Born in KW period. If you were born in the hospital on Stock Island before KW anexed the part of Stock Island being Northerly of US 1 including the Hospital, garbage dump, MCCC, Tennessee Williams theater, MCMCD, FKAA garage, Hospital, etc. Then you were NOT born in KW but on STOCK ISLAND & therefore by definition you cannot call Urself a Conch. (TRIGGER HAPPY COP) CLEVELAND (AP) — A 12-year-old boy shot by police after grabbing what turned out to be a replica gun died from his wounds Sunday, a day after officers responded to a 911 call about someone waving a “probably fake” gun at a playground.
Deputy Chief Ed Tomba said one officer fired twice after the boy pulled the fake weapon — which was lacking the orange safety indicator usually found on the muzzle — from his waistband but had not pointed it at police. The boy did not make any verbal threats but grabbed the replica handgun after being told to raise his hands, Tomba said.”That’s when the officer fired,” he said.
Attention to all the lemmings in Moron, oops Monroe County. Why is further abuse being thrust on the homeowners in another tax. That’s all this permit fee” is. We are not asking permission to do something. It is being forced down our throats by politicians who think they know better.

Canadians are getting plenty worried about our election and our immigration policy!
From The Manitoba Herald:
The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The recent actions of the Tea Party and the fact Republicans won the Senate are prompting an exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, and to agree with Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.
Canadian border farmers say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night.
“I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said Southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota . “The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?”
In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields. “Not real effective,” he said. “The liberals still got through and Rush annoyed the cows so much that they wouldn’t give any milk.”
Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons, and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves. “A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions,” an Ontario border patrolman said. “I found one carload without a single bottle of imported drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though.” When liberals are caught, they’re sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.
In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half- dozen young vegans in powdered wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the ’50s. “If they can’t identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age,” an official said.
Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and are renting all the Michael Moore movies. “I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can’t support them,” an Ottawa resident said. “How many art-history majors does one country need?”
In an effort to ease tensions between the United States and Canada , Vice President Biden met with the Canadian ambassador and pledged that the administration would take steps to reassure liberals. A source close to President Obama said, “We’re going to have some Paul McCartney and Peter, Paul & Mary concerts. And we might even put some endangered species on postage stamps. The President is determined to reach out,” he said.

ice age24Part 1) Many of us remember the ‘70’s when the scientific community was certain that we were headed into a new ice age. Some said it was “settled science.”How can we forget the climate prognosticator’s chilling (pun intended) forecast that “global warming” was certain to breed a huge increase in the numbers and intensity of hurricanes? That screeching, tearing of sackcloth, smearing of ashes, and howls of panic for the dangers of global warming that echoed from the parapets of DC went on for years increasing in intensity and certainty each year for years. It was declared that it was certain to happen because it was “settled science.” The world was certain to be fried, extra crispy. It was “settled science.”

On Thursday, the SunSentinel published an article explaining reasons why Florida has been hurricane free since Wilma 9 years ago. They wrote of wind shear, African dust, shifts in the Bermuda high, El Nino, jet stream fluctuations, and sundry meteorological phenomena.

Not only is it fact that Florida has been hurricane free for nearly a decade, the number of hurricanes has diminished substantially for about a decade. Yep, the climate is changing.

According to the lead hurricane forecaster for, “it’s astounding that Florida has gone so long without a hurricane.” He added: “we just don’t understand what’s going on out there in the tropics.” What about “settled science?”

The anthropogenic global warming soothsayers have now decided that it’s possible, perhaps likely, that we’ve been hurricane free BECAUSE of “global warming.” How long will it be before they decide that that too is “settled science?”

BTW: Jacksonville set a new cold weather record. Thursday morning’s temperature dropped to a bone chilling 24 degrees breaking the old record of 30 degrees set in 1873. In the north east and mid west century old cold and snow fall records have been shattered.

NOAA now very grudgingly admits that for the past decade or so: “the change in Earth’s global mean surface temperature has been close to zero.” Check it out: Link

constitution benPart 2) Mr. Obama has made it crystal clear that he has abandoned all respect for the US Constitution. Not only with his recent imperial edict on immigration that will be found to be unconstitutional, but also on his recent “deal” with China on carbon emissions. The “deal” ignored Congress’s role in treaty making, and literally gave China the farm. He committed the US to making deep cuts to carbon emissions, effectively killing inexpensive energy, and gave China an absolutely free ride. China does not have to do a damned thing. They only “promise” to stop their increase in carbon emissions by 2030. Obama agreed to that even though China has its thumb firmly in America’s eye. They steal our industrial secrets, they routinely hack our computer systems, they brag of being able to shut down our power grid, they copy our weapons, and they are growing increasingly aggressive on the world stage. Obama kissed the China ring. That fact is settled science.

Part 3) Let’s review: We all know that Attorney General Eric Holder is resigning. We also know that his office has been spotlighted for any number of purposeful excursions from obeying and enforcing the law. Operation Fast and Furious, targeting journalists, refusing to enforce law that he doesn’t agree with are just the tip of the Holder misfeasance. Never forget his usurpation of the privacy rights of tens if not hundreds of thousands of Americans by blanket electronic surveillance.

So, who will Obama nominate to replace Holder? Will he nominate a fair broker, a person who can impartially police the actions of the Justice Department? A person who has no political agenda? A person who will refuse to provide cover for Executive branch misdeeds?

Obama nominated the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Loretta Lynch to be our next AG. Sure sounds routine, but it’s not.

Lynch, like Obama, is a Harvard grad. When she arrived at Harvard there was no sorority for black female students. So she and a fellow student named Sharon Malone founded one. They were BFF’s then and now.

Lynch pursued a legal career, Malone a career in medicine. She became a well thought of OBGYM physician and a co-owner of an abortion clinic in Atlanta. Throughout the years Malone and Lynch have remained fast friends.

Lynch rose through the ranks of the AG’s office and Lynch was appointed by Holder to the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee in 2010. In 2013 she was named Chair of the Committee and she also sits on the Department of Justice’s Diversity Council.

But, the most important thing to remember is that Doctor Sharon Malone is Eric Holder’s wife. Yep, the nominee to replace Holder and Holder’s wife are tighter than ticks. The bond between them is strong and has existed for many years. The ties between Lynch and Holder/Obama could not be stronger. Expect a continuation of cover-ups and misfeasance at the top US cops office, the Attorney General’s Office if Loretta Lynch becomes our AG.
