Mangrove Mama’s sold again!? Yet another local spot that’s been sold and resold to transplants – over and over. I wonder how many millions crossed hands this time? Link

Why worry about the national debt. How is it supposed to affect me?  It didn’t affect me when we had a surplus and it didn’t affect me when it was a deficit

[Gun Violence] The Second Amendment shouldn’t be a death sentence for the rest of us.

[“Wifi mobile trailer”] Some posters think this is a bad idea. They weren’t here after Irma when there was no cellphone or wifi service. We were desperate for contact with the outside world and to tell our families that we were okay. Don’t always think of yourself. Think of others.
South Florida Symphony String Quartet live, in-person at Ocean Key Resort — Sunset Pier Thurs., April 15 8:30 – 9:30 pm. Very limited, socially distanced seating. Tickets $25. Link

[Troll vs Troller] What could be more on-the-nose than figurative troll Matt Gaetz styling his hair like a literal troll?

[“Wifi mobile trailer”] Some posters think this is a bad idea. They weren’t here after Irma when there was no cellphone or wifi service. We were desperate for contact with the outside world; and to tell our families that were okay. Don’t always think of yourself. Think of others.
[“Keys under attack”] “What would happen if the Keys got attacked” Nothing. You forget that Boca Chica Naval Air Station has a bunch of F-22s. If the Sheriff Dept can’t protect us the Navy will.
[Guns] President Biden tightens some gun controls, says much more needed: “It is actually a public health crisis” Link
The British strain of Covid is now the dominate strain in the US.
[“Scarlet Letter”] For the person who wanted a pin or identifier showing they had been vaccinated. How about doing like Venezuela? A Venezuelan mayor marks homes of COVID patients with red warning symbols on the homes of people with COVID-19. Yeah, let’s mark those special folks and deny everyone their privacy. Remember when the Keys were live and let live? Link

The cancel’ culture is the ‘woke’ culture. Control over thought and speech is terrible.
[Friday Joke] Pasquale died. His will provided $40,000 for an elaborate funeral. As the last guests departed, his wife Angelina turned to her oldest and dearest friend, “Ah well, Pasquale would be pleased.” she said. “You’re right,” replied Maria, who lowered her voice and leaned in close.
“So go on, how much did this funeral really cost?” “All of it,” said Angelina. “Forty thousand.” “Aw, no!” Maria exclaimed, “I mean, it was very grand, but $40,000?” Angelina answered, “The funeral was $6,500. I donated $500 to the church. The whisky, wine and snacks were another $500. The rest went for the Memorial Stone.” Maria computed quickly.
“Mama mia! For the love of God!  Angelina, $32,500 for a memorial stone? How big is it?”

How to read an airport wind sock.

[Plant Police] Nothing should grow in the Keys except mangroves and a few palm trees. Planting grass and gardens have destroyed the Keys.
[Trial] I’ve been fascinated by the trial of the bad cop who murdered Floyd. I wait for the trial to begin every day. I’ve learned several things. One of them is how people breath.
[Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act] This link is to a recording of the March 31 presentation about the Plastic Pollution Act with Oregon’s U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley teamed up with Representative Alan Lowenthal. Video

My Pornhub search history.

[“Electoral College”] I’ve seen several explanations, comments on many media over the years.  This explanation of the Electoral College and layman explanation why our Founders created it is by far the most clear, concise and absolutely the best explanation I have ever seen. Good Job poster!

[Big Pine Nurse’s Station] (Ed: My apologies to Nurse Dawn for her ad not displaying properly the first couple of days. I found the problem and corrected it. Good luck!)
