[Yesterday’s Political Poster Bashing Mark Senmartin] Marathon City Council candidate Mark Senmartin did not knowingly violate City Code while simultaneously running for office as was alleged here yesterday. If you re-read the KeyNoter article, you will see that the “code violation”, which remains “contested and questionable” (did he cut trees, or trim trees), was from 2004 — nine years ago!

The only interesting and newsworthy fact in this idiocy, which you neglect to mention, is that the “political flyer” sent to Marathon residents attempting to defame Mark Senmartin was sent by a “non-existent person”, who never lived at the address listed on that paid political flyer. The Keynoter quoted Monroe County Supervisor of Elections Joyce Griffin as stating, “The problem is no one by the name of Scott Miller owns or rents a property at that address… There’s also no registered voter in Marathon named Scott Miller”

The only thing newsworthy in this (9 year old) non-issue will be the outcome of the Supervisor of Elections investigation into the origin of last week’s desperate and deceptive flyer.

The only relevant questions regarding that “paid political flyer” are:
~Who was so desperate to defame candidate Mark Senmartin (the best they could come up with was a 9 year old contested/////////// code citation) that they forged a “non-existent” person’s name, and invalid address, on a paid political flyer?
~Were any of the other candidates in that race involved in this?

[Fracking Crooks] A lot of people are not making a thing off the fracking boom on their private land. If you do not want them to drill on your land too bad. The government is forcing me to purchase a policy for more money then I have spent on health care in the last 5+ years, and then I will have a $2000+ deductible to meet before the policy starts to pay my costs. So if I didn’t have the money before, where will it come from now? Oh yeah, my grocery bill, who needs to eat on this planet.

It is time for a revolution. Five more years of Obama will tank this once great nation. Term limits begin at the voting booth. Now if we could just educate half of the nation in economics maybe they would vote wisely.

CNN reported that as of Saturday, Team Obama was claiming that nearly half a million people had “filled out applications for Obamacare coverage”.  But an application is only the beginning of the process that leads to enrollment.

Applicants submit personal and financial information. After the program determines whether they are eligible for coverage and for a subsidy toward their premium costs, they can comparison shop and choose an insurance plan. For some reason, Team Obama refuses to tell us how many people have actually enrolled. The White House is very, very worried about the roll out, look for some sort of statement from Obama himself concerning the mess today.

Part 2) The Obamacare cluster intercourse and the government shut down cluster intercourse has sucked all of the oxygen out of the news cycle. Just the other day Obama told us all that the “Farm Bill” was one of his top priorities over the next few months. He also said that the immigration issue is are next on his “to do” list. He makes no mention of the budget, rescuing Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and a menu of other major problems.  Please remember that only about 2% of all Americans are engaged in farming. Obama’s “Farm Bill” has little or nothing to do with farming, it is all about growing welfare and food stamps. Team Obama is fully convinced that even more Americans should be on the government dole.
