There is a new grinder pump petition online to put all grinder pumps on public property and powered from an FKAA meter instead of your home. No individual should have to subsidize public construction costs or provide the land. This petition originated from Ramrod but applies to all. By grouping isolated clusters of homes on a short gravity system that is pumped by a single pump station, the construction costs are less and the long term maintenance costs are far less. With a greatly reduced number of pump stations, maybe pumping them down during a power outage is actually achievable! In 2005, Cudjoe was without power for 53 days. [Affordable Care Website] I have, on three different days tried several time each day to get on the ObamaCare web site. A total of 9 times. Most often it will freeze or go blank. The few time I was able to fill out the very long request just to see the plans and cost. They have lost or redirected my input to the wrong place. My personal Insurance has gone for $650 to over $1,000 dollars per month,that’s with a $10,000 deductible. I would like to see if a savings is available for me and my wife. We are both in good health. I do know one person with preexisting conditions that was able to get through. They were able to stick with it for several hours,they feel that they may have gotten coverage. They are really not sure. Has anyone been able to do any better.

Obamacare just killed my insurance. I have an individual health plan by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. I’ve been paying $167 per/month, but I just received a letter telling me that my medical plan will no longer exist because of the Affordable Care Act, and my new premium will now be $433 per month effective Jan. 2014. The deductible went from $2,000 to $5,500, and guess what — I do not qualify for any of the so-called subsidies. Obama just tells you he wants you to think, but fails to tell you about the 85% who are now very angry about this so call “Affordable Health Care.” It is not, nor has it ever been, about your health insurance or care — it is about spreading around the wealth and controlling people.

Gotta love it. FTR on Monday whined about what Obama was going to be doing instead of what he, FTR, wants him to be doing next. The Right is all the way down to bitching about things before they happen. Classic. Got ego?

He sounded very much like that famous TV pitchman, Billy Mays … “But wait there’s more!” Obama aka Billy assured us that that his product was great even though the means to deliver it sucks. In fact it sucks so bad that even Consumer Reports urges its reader to stay away from the web site, Healthcare.gov, until they get it fixed. Please remember that the web site cost us about 10 times as much as it was supposed to, and still it doesn’t work. If Amazon, Facebookook, and Twitter, can do it, why can’t team Obama at about 10 times the cost? Is it possible that anyone can be so gullible so as to believe that Team Obama really doesn’t know how many people have actually been able to purchase ACA health insurance? I hope not.
