[Cop’s Hate] Take a look at the at the bystander video in the shooting of Walter Scott in North Charleston, SC.  He was stopped for a traffic violation.  He ran, but watch him run.  He is moving like someone’s Grandfather.  They had his car, his id, etc.  The officer involved could have radioed his location and the direction Mr. Scott was headed and then pursued him.  Instead, he takes aim and fires off several rounds and kills him. I surely believe that when he pulled the trigger he was thinking FU, this will teach you some respect.

The same is true for the cop who killed George Floyd.  Look at his face and posture, you can read his mind. I see, “Don’t respect the badge?”  “How you like me now, n****r?”

Police work is tough and pretty much thankless.  God bless and protect the good cops who keep us safe and come to our aid when we need them. However, when an American soldier, in uniform, is afraid to stop for a blue light on a dark and lonely road, we need to pay attention and ask, “what’s wrong with this situation”.

Of course, All Lives Matter, but black Americans are not very confident theirs really do.

It takes a lot of courage for a man to admit that his wife is wrong
[Murder Amendment] I think Americans are violent by nature (look at our history) and that may be the reason so many love the 2d Amendment. It is outdated and an amendment to the amendment is sorely needed. We have one mass murder a week and all we do is talk about it when the real problem is the 2D Amendment.
[“Keys fell from grace”] It’s not the Keys that’s changed, it’s you who have gotten older and changed. you no longer live the carefree life of your prime.

[GMO Mosquitoes] Florida Keys to see release of first genetically modified mosquitoes. The project was devised to fight insect-borne diseases but has stirred controversy. Video

The difference between animals and humans.  Animals would never let the dumbest of the herd lead them.

[Walter Mondale is dead] Ex-Vice President and champion of liberal politics, dies at 93. Under Jimmy Carter, he was the first V.P. to serve as a genuine partner of a president. Link

[Black Lives Matter] The poster who defended black murders by police as being at fault for not cooperating is so out of touch it’s amazing. He’s white for sure and has no idea of the fear a black man has when he’s stopped. Should he cooperate in his own death? I don’t think it. How come all whites who don’t cooperate don’t get murdered?
[“Cancel culture”] It is not limited into canceling physical items like books, speech as in pronoun usage, memorials, but extends into the freeman’s thinking by use of the thought police. I am curious about the respondent’s inquisitive nature of this posting. Are you part of the thought police or not?
DEF: a group of people who aim or are seen as aiming to suppress ideas that deviate from the way of thinking that they believe to be correct. If you dare question it, the thought police will come after you
[Virtual Concert] Season finale virtual concert special offer: $20 household pass. The raw passion of Russian symphonic music prevails in South Florida Symphony’s 2020/21 Season finale concert. Audience favorite Svetlana Smolina returns with Shostakovich’s carefree and witty First Piano Concerto. The evening concludes with one of Tchaikovsky’s finest works, the ravishing Serenade for Strings. Have other plans on April 24? The concert will be available to view from April 24 – May 1. Link
I couldn’t afford an Ancestry DNA kit, so I announced that I won the lottery.  I soon found out who my relatives are
[Don’t press 90# on your telephone] I received a telephone call last evening from an individual identifying himself as an AT&T Service Technician (could also be Telus) who was conducting a test on the telephone lines. He stated that to complete the test I should touch nine (9), zero (0), the pound sign (#), and then hang up. Luckily, I was suspicious and refused.
Upon contacting the telephone company, I was informed that by pushing 90#, you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone number.
I was further informed that this scam has been originating from many local
jails/prisons. Do not press 90# for anyone!
[Gaetz Sex Scandal] How medical marijuana’s powerful allies fueled rise of Orlando doctor now embroiled in Matt Gaetz sex scandal. As the marijuana industry’s fortunes swelled, so did Pirozzolo’s. When Knox was acquired by Miami-based Cansortium Inc., records show that he and his partner Florete were given a stake in the new company valued at the time at $2.1 million. One year later, Pirozzolo bought a second home in Key West for $700,000. Link
[Fried Chicken Sandwich] Since I’ve been eating at McDonald’s in 1955 when Ray Krock opened #1 in Deplanes, Illinois and even attempted their Spam Oreo cookie crumble sandwich at home, I had to try their latest offer, a crispy fried chicken sandwich. It was a total disaster, and seriously Over-priced poor excuse for a fried chicken sandwich. Why pay $5.29 for a let’s-pretend fried chicken sandwich at McDonald’s when I can just drive a little further south to Popeyes and get an actual fried chicken sandwich for a very reasonable price of $3.29. Do you want the real thing or do you settle for a fake sandwich at a higher price. (Editor: Unfortunately there are no Popeyes down here.)
[Car Crashes] Growing up near Niagara Falls NY (cold, cold, cold tourist town), I often listen to Toronto radio (91.1 FM), killer blues program Saturday nights. When they break for a commercial during drive times, m-f, they call accidents for what they are, “crashes”.

[Seven Mile Bridge Run] I would love to do the race next year and would like to know when the registration starts for 2022. Link

Crazy Lady Beer”. She drinks it, and it fits.
[Don’t Mess With Mother Nature] What could go wrong? In Hawaii, the ships brought in rats. To fight the rats the government brought in snakes. The snakes went out of control and ate the eggs of rare birds. To fight the snakes the government brought in mongoose. The mongoose went out of control and instead of eating the snakes (which mongoose don’t actually do anyway), the mongoose ate dogs, house cats, etc. They are now a bigger problem than the rats and snakes.
~Anyone remember what happened when honey bees were paired with bees from Africa? Didn’t work out so well.
~What about the birds and such that depend on mosquitos for food? Also, if these birds ingest them will it affect them and their reproducing? Will this have a chain effect.
~I’m a agronomist and a farmer and I can tell you that when you start playing with the genetics of any creature many times you end up solving one problem but you cause another problem.
[Diver Death] A Hallandale Beach, Fl man dies snorkeling off Key Largo with a dive company. He was 82 years old. My reason for writing is the questio9n, how do they keep track of all those divers? I have been PADI certified scuba diver since 1978, though diving since 1976. I have been out on some of these group outings, and sometimes wonder how these dive operators return/ keep track of the numerous people. I feel more comfortable in the water than on land, but God only knows how an operator can have one captain, and one mate to keep track of 20 or 30 divers? Been there, done that, but I’m still amazed how on trip back in, they arrive with same number they started with.

Politicians share the same way people do.

[Phishing] Hello dear friend. I am Attorney Elli Raymond, A legal adviser/financial consultant to your late relative, please I need your attention regarding his assets in my possession, get back to me as soon as possible, Thank you.
Regards,
Attorney. Elli Raymond
[“Keys fell”] Your statement sounds like you came to the Keys in 2010? The Keys were ruined by non-native species long before you got here a decade ago. In fact, Florida was on the way to ruination in the late 80’s. If you’re not wearing an Atocha dogtag given to you by one of Mel Fisher’s divers,  you’re a Johanna come lately to the Keys who’s going to ask what the Atocha is first? Who?)
[Divorce Strategy] On the first day, he sadly packed his belongings into boxes, crates, and suitcases. On the second day, he had the movers come and collect his things. On the third day, he sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining-room table, by candlelight; he put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of spring-water. When he’d finished, he went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimps dipped in caviar into the hollow center of the curtain rods. He then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

On the fourth day, the wife came back with her new boyfriend, and at first, all was bliss. Then, slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything; cleaning, mopping, and airing out the place. Vents were checked for dead rodents, and carpets were steam cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which time the two had to move out for a few days, and in the end, they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked! People stopped coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit. Finally, they couldn’t take the stench any longer and decided they had to move, but a month later – even though they’d cut their price in half – they couldn’t find a buyer for such a stinky house. Word got out, and eventually, even the local realtors refused to return their calls. Finally, unable to wait any longer for a purchaser, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

Then the ex-called the woman and asked how things were going. She told him the saga of the rotting house. He listened politely and said he missed his old home terribly and would be willing to reduce his divorce settlement in exchange for having the house. Knowing he could have no idea how bad the smell really was, she agreed on a price only 1/10th of what the house had been worth … but only if he would sign the papers that very day. He agreed, and within two hours her lawyers delivered the completed paperwork.

A week later the woman and her boyfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home. And to spite the ex-husband, they even took the curtain rods!

I love a happy ending, don’t you?
