[Key West Quarantine Violator Sentenced] A judge has sentenced a woman to 30 days in jail for violating a COVID-19 quarantine order issued last July. Judge Mark Wilson sentenced Yohana Anahi Gonzalez last week. In July, Key West Police Department officers arrested Gonzalez and her roommate, Joses Interian, who live in the 1800 block of Harris Avenue, on one count each of violating a quarantine order and another charge each of violating an emergency preparedness directive. Neighbors had alerted authorities that Gonzalez and Interian were not abiding by mandatory quarantine orders. A neighbor of the owner of the home videotaped the pair leaving their property.

When Johnny Winter was young, he would practice guitar for 6 hours a day.

[Pedestrian Mall] Lincoln Road, Miami vs Duval St, Key West. Tons of fountains, trees, flowers. Planter walls all over for seating. No curbs, easy walking. No delivery trucks barreling down, no Uber and Lyft jockeys scouring the streets. No section that gets worse then the lower end of the street, the later it gets (KW). Cannot city of Key West do something similar?
I need someone who knows how to remove a sash from a single hung window. I have a stuck channel balance and my problem goes beyond what YouTube shows. Business Directory on BPK.com shows Window Wizard, but he texted me and said he’s been gone from BPK for years. (Ed: Thank you, I’ve removed them from the Business Directory)

[Covid 19 Birthday] Does anyone know where I can buy Napoleon in the Keys? We would like this as a birthday dessert. No lit candles because when you blow them out you spit all over your birthday cake

[Antidisestablishmentarianism. Floxinoxinihilipilification] I’m happy to see that I can dictate all sorts of words into an email. And I don’t have to worry about spelling them.  I don’t even have to define them. No, I do not dictate off-color words such as t****.
[Ink] I’ve been using cheap, after-market ink in my two printers and haven’t had a problem for twenty years. One of the printers ran out today and while I was replacing it I thought I should write to the Coconut Telegraph telling you about cheap ink. Wouldn’t you know it, the cartridge wouldn’t work! That was the only problem I’ve had with cheap ink in 20 years. It wasn’t really a problem because I bought so many that I have plenty of spares. I can buy all 4 ink cartridges for the price of just 1 manufacturer’s ink and I’ve never been able to tell the difference other than price, either in the quality of photos or documents.
There are two kinds of people in the world and I don’t care much for either of them. ~Eric Idle
[Organic Back Up Alarm] A back-up sensor warns the driver before the rear bumper actually comes in contact with something. Who invented this sensor? I’ll bet you think it was Ford, maybe GM; how about Chrysler? No.  Mercedes Benz, or possibly the French or Italian car manufacturers? No. It was a Japanese farmer named Kawasaki. His invention was simple and effective. It emitted a high-pitch squeal just before the vehicle itself backs into something. Here’s a photo showing where the idea came from.

[Virus Milestone] a half million people have died from the virus. To mark this milestone officials want to open schools and restaurants, and athletic events.

[Faith On The Wings Of A Dove] A phial of oil used in that kingly baptism by St. Rémy, France and still preserved in his abbey, was brought to him by a white dove, straight from heaven.  Accordingly, the kings were crowned there, from Philip Augustus in 1180 to Charles X in 1824.
[Happy Birthday Peace Sign] The peace sign was created February 21, 1958 by British graphic designer and Christian pacifist Gerald Holtom. Holtom was tasked with creating the banners and signs for a nuclear disarmament march in London and he wanted a visual that would stick in the public’s mind. The design is, in part. modeled after naval semaphore flags that sailors use to communicate. Holtom combined the codes for “N’ (two flags angled down at a 45 degrees) for “nuclear” and “D” (one flag pointed straight up and one flag pointed straight down) for “disarmament.”
