[Water On The Knee] Can I have some proven home remedies for water on the knee that you know of?

Do the Keys actually need 1,300 more building permits? Link

Be a part of volcanic history! Your chance to go, live and work where Kīlauea volcano is erupting with a dramatic intensity not seen since 1955. Link

[Logo War] Is it a pizza or a highway? Logo war ends with a victory for food. Link
[Computer Virus] I have gotten four computer viruses in the last week. I think the President should pass a law that if the buggers are caught they spend 10 years in a gulag in Siberia.

Yes, dolphins do sleep, which shouldn’t be surprising since, as adults, they scarf up between 17 and 35 pounds of fish a day. These are just a few of the facts about dolphins that may be learned during a tour of Island Dolphin Care, the Key Largo-based not-for-profit organization that provides dolphin assisted therapy programs for special needs children and adults. Rain, rain, rain and here comes the bugs. Spray now or forever hold your fly swatter! We live in a tropical jungle and it has its rules.

[Keys Energy] Dear Lower Keys Friends and Neighbors, For the first time ever, all voters in the Keys Energy service area get to vote for the Utility Board members. And for the first time ever, we get a representative from outside of Key West proper.

For more than 10 years now I’ve been successfully advancing our local electric, utility, and conservation issues.  Now I’m running for this new seat on the Keys Energy Utility Board.

I’m hoping that you can take 90-seconds to view my video and hear me out on my qualifications and platform. Link

Thank you,

[Bird Eating Fish] Trevally. A unique sequences of pictures, the first in the world! The sea off the Republic of Seychelles is calm. Suddenly, a trevally leaps out of the sea to feed on the Wuyou gull. Initially, the story of a fish eating a bird came only from a fisherman’s story. In the absence of any photographic evidence, the director of the crew thought this was a worthwhile risk for a 30-year career. So the crew of four took 800 kg of filming equipment, which includes an anti-shake camera, came to a remote atoll in the Republic of Seychelles where it was shot. It took several weeks to finally capture the rare fish shots. Video
[Roll Back Radio] Music that you grew up on! Radio
Prince Harry had his Bachelor party last week in London and here is his Quote of the Day from that memorable event: “It’s really weird stuffing money into a stripper’s G string when every bill has a photo of your grandmother printed on it.”

Fascists – people who exploit liberal norms in the interest of one day ending them.

[Political Correctness] “Party like it’s 1776,” printed on tickets for New Jersey high school’s senior prom sparked an apology from the principal, who called the language “insensitive.” The Cherry Hill High School East senior prom tickets urged students to “party like it’s 1776” during the event at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center. Principal Dennis Perry said in a letter to the community posted on his Twitter account on Friday that some people were offended, and it was “insensitive and irresponsible” not to recognize that “not all communities can celebrate what life was like in 1776.” He says he especially wants to apologize to black students “who I have let down by not initially recognizing the inappropriateness of this wording.” Perry says prom attendees will receive commemorative tickets without the language.
Fishing regulations for sharks could include Keys bridges. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission board members, meeting April 25, directed staff to draft tighter regulations on “land-based shark fishing” that will be go to public workshops before possible adoption.

“Clearly we need to do something,” FWC Commissioner Joshua Kellam said at the Fort Lauderdale session. “Some of these pictures on social media are disgraceful. We need to put something in place so it doesn’t continue happening the way it is.” Link

[Requiem for the American Dream] In this timely documentary, Noam Chomsky, one of America’s most respected and influential social theorists, offers sobering insights on the nation’s extreme economic inequalities and the true cost of projecting U.S. power worldwide.

If you have Netflix get this DVD. Hopefully it will wake you up! Link

The End is Near (Paradise)! We are being sold down the creek, with this affordable housing bs, by the County and developers who want these islands. If we locals don’t stand up and face the invasion of the money lenders and investors, we will be living in a stacked row housing development like any large city, and you know what that turns into. If the junta pushes us to allow this I will sell out to the lowest form of humanity there is–real estate agents! Link

[Captain Doom and Gloom] You can tell when a ‘hood is going down hill into a slum when each property owner has to fence in his grounds. The Keys were a wide open paradise until you self-centered paranoids got here and ruined everything! Dogs and cats? who needs them? The Keys are dead just like Bimini and the Caribbean.

This machine is called the Echo Pas-266 Pro attachment and the Echo Pas Paddle Attachment. My million dollar idea is to invent a larger version with a bagger to drive along the shoulders of US 1 and clean up the remaining hurricane debris. Video

Here we go again…

[Gymnasts Singers] The Ross Sisters. Talent show in 1944. Amazing 3 ladies. During the first 50 seconds, they are just singing, but next, what they do, is amazing. Video

[Key West Man Hit By Train]  He was airlifted to a Miami hospital on Thursday evening after the Conch Train — a tourist attraction since 1958 — knocked him down, police and witnesses said. “The guy was literally pinned under the engine,” one witness, Tom Payne, posted on Facebook. “His head and body bleeding…lots of blood.” Police spokeswoman Alyson Crean said the Conch Train had no passengers on it when it struck the pedestrian, who was not named. She called the incident a “critical crash.” “The victim, possibly homeless, was airlifted,” Crean said Friday. “He was conscious and alert at the time he was put on the helicopter.” Payne said he saw that the man was still alive and moaning moments after the crash, which happened at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of White Street at Truman Avenue.
Some of Buster Keaton’s most amazing stunts. Did they have Photoshop back then?  Great editing? These are amazing. Keaton did all his own stunts! Video
[Volcano] So far, 40 homes have been destroyed in Hawaii. I guess I’ll take a hurricane over a volcano. My friend has this sign on his boat: “Paradise does not come easy”

[Emergency Beacon Rental Program] Gives Keys poaters peace of mind. Being prepared for the “unexpected” is big part of boating safety. Take along some peace of mind on your next water adventure: fishing trip, paddle sports, weekend getaway, up the coast, on the lake, or out to sea and pack an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) or Personal Locator Beacon (PLB). [Sue] People have learned that the easy way to riches is through a lawyer. Just sue for anything. “Oh, that person grabbed my ass years ago when I was walking through the bar in my Bikini, I want money.” Divorce is now a marketing tool. Testicular castration lets you whip it out in the girl’s room free while in drag.

[Times, They Are A’changin’] I used to have over 500 people emailing me and now the boredom has set in and my email address book is down to under 50 people who still use email. Thanks cellphone texting!

[“Save the Keys smoke a stogie”] This does not work on most Jersey girls, it attracts them. They were raised on bad smells; anything that stinks pulls them in. You should see them around a bag of old chum
